DISCOVER A BETTER WORLD OF WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
IMMERSIVE AND INSPIRING EXPERIENCES LEADING TO INCREDIBLE PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Foster change in eco-tourism by practicing and promoting ethical wildlife photography
While some might use questionable methods of creating opportunities to capture images, our wilderness experiences prioritize the welfare of the wildlife above anything else. Empathy for their wellbeing inspires ethical practices that ultimately allow us to see them in more relaxed states in their natural environments. This leads to better photos.
Come back with images you can proudly publish
Many photography tours place people high up in vehicles or on platforms where they are taking photos that look down on the animals. They tout this as a good thing and while there are times when it can be more comfortable it often results in less impactful photos.
We strive to immerse you in the world of our wildlife subjects while always respecting their comfort and well-being and the preservation of their environment. Shooting from down low may be more physically demanding but it’s ultimately more rewarding. In our workshops you’ll learn to shoot in all kinds of situations and come away with way better images.
Use your photography to help save at-risk wildlife
In addition to the time we spend in the field, we also take you behind the scenes and connect you with wildlife conservation efforts. You’ll learn about the many threats facing wildlife today and the critically important work that’s being done to save them. You’ll also learn about the impact on people such as the conflicts that can arise between people and wild animals. Our hope is that you’ll be deeply moved by the stories you will hear and inspired to tell them in your own way through the images you capture.
All of our expeditions utilize small group units with a very high ratio of photographic leaders to participants. All our photographic leaders have a deep passion for teaching photography and will assist you both in the field and between shooting sessions with editing, feedback on your images, advice on publishing your images, and a lot more.
We’ll help you with theory, the practice, the technical details, and most importantly, the artistry and creativity to become better at different styles of wildlife photography including fine art and reportage.
If you come ready to learn and willing to work hard at improving your craft, we’ll do our best to help you level up no matter where you’re at.
We are deeply committed to helping you become a better wildlife photographer. With our mentorship model we’ll even support you after our workshops.
